End of the month report - July 2025

Total portfolio: £133809 (+9990)

Here we are at the half of the year, checking the numbers. How am I doing? Let's see:

Debt: 0 (-294)
External funds: ZERO
Car: No
Net Worth: £133809 (+10284)
Investments UK: £76750 (+8294)
Investments overseas: £1500 (+111)
Cash: £15430 (+310)
Pension: £39506 (+1267)

Passive income: £640 (24.71%)
Savings rate: 22.70%

Side hustle 2 profit (Royalties): £ 3.65
Side hustle 3 profit (Match betting): £0
Side hustle 4 value (Crypto): £581 (All my funds invested in crypto were recovered)
Side hustle 5 profit (Focus groups): £0
Side hustle 6 profit (Internet):£10

Projects to follow up in 2025:

Hive - 22.39 % completed (generated $141 this month)
DEFI - 33.34 % completed (generated $330 this month)
Shares Account no.1 AJ Bell 10K - 20.79 % completed
Shares Account no.2 Freetrade 10K- 22.39 % completed
Cash 20K - 77.15 % completed

All the special projects are going well, 20% or more of it achieved, with the next aim of 25% for all of them to be completed. Crypto went a bit up, and now is going a bit down. I managed to add a hundred pounds here and there, working up my 2 positions on Freetrade app - BlackRock investment funds and UK Treasury bill shares. The idea is to build a position on £10.000 and let it grow, as a secondary emergency fund, in case of need.

All debt were paid, the flight tickets for my end of the year holiday. A few extra expenses coming soon, a new mattress and the rent posibly going up £175 in the next 2-3 months. Saving will be harder with this current economy, I tell you. I am doing the ocasional few quids on surveys - £10 this month, sent to my bank account - went into shopping pot, and £3-4 in Amazon royalties. Noticed that crypto interest is hovering around £500 monthly, in 2025. Now you see from where I get my Freetrade shares funds. Thinking of it as some real-world value transfer. Some months it works, some it wont. I only need to keep it under the legal limit of £3000 per year to avoid tax. I am at $600 for now, and it is August, so I should not worry. The Virgin pension is increasing the monthly dues, again, but I only got another 7 years until it is kicking in, so I am willing to put the money in there. That's all for now!

I wish you a profitable well-planned rest of the year!

Projects to follow up in 2024:

Hive - 14.72% completed (generated $226 this month)

Shares Account no.1 AJ Bell 10K - 17.40% completed

Shares Account no.2 Freetrade 10K- 10.80% completed

Cash 10K - 90% completed

A moderate drop of around £2K due to the crypto value drop.Other than that, the worst month in terms of profits, after January, showing that the economy crisis is not over yet. Roialties are down to almost nothing lately. But we must go on, again and again. I am very close to reach the 10K savings for emergency cash fund. In the next two months it may be done. Then I go for some shares. 2 accounts of 10K each, until the end of 2025, as the plan goes for now.

Wish you a good year!

This was a good month, mostly because of my newlyfound success on blockchain gaming. As most of the profit was made from capital gains, some of my gaming assets (NFT) increasing as much as 14 times. There are mainly 2 games that bring me more than 1000$ per month (yes, dollars, because that's what they pay). One of them is called Axie Infinity, and you need to buy a team of three Axies (game characters) in order to start, and they cost around 300$ each. Minimum effort will get you 700-800$, with 20 minutes of daily play. The second one, the one that gain something like 12.000$ in assets from 2.500$ in just one month, it is called Splinterlands, and the initial investment is 10$, in order to buy a Spell Book to gain access to the paid version (anti-spam measure). Both games are paying you in cryptocurrency tokens (called SLP for Axie, and DEC for Splinterlands), and all I have to do is to change them at the end of the month into GBP, using Binance Exchange, and send them to bank account. Still, if you do that you may want only to use only your £12000 allowance, as you need to pay capital tax if you send more than that to your bank account. The problem with crypto is that it is starting to feel like a second full time job, and I am getting tired lately. I may need to slow down a bit.

As for main job, I just did my hours, and no extra shifts, as I am able not to get the equivalent of my pay day with just 60-80 minutes of playing games. Of course, I have another 36 projects I take care, related to crypto, hence the full time job feeling.

I was trying to get rid of the extra pound that i gained in the past 18 months, and I am going twice per week at gym or pool. Getting ready for a wedding and an IVF session kind of adds to the general stress, in terms of money, time and patience. But I will finally say I do! in September, if everything goes well. Until now we spent almost ten thousand pounds on wedding preparations and some 1200 on IVF.

I did not have much time for any other activity, except 4-6 weekly blog post on crypto themed platforms, being paid for that. I completely stopped the matched betting, and I did not write much lately.

That's all for July, see you in another month. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

July 2019 - end of the month report

My Overview

The numbers may be slightly innacurate as i lost some data, but i can still calculate the average sum.

Total portfolio: £29225 (-9)
Debt: ZERO
External funds: ZERO
Car: No
Net Worth: £29225 (-9)

Investments UK: £23246 (+4556)
Investments overseas : £4510 (+119)
Cash: £1350
Pension: £12405 (+668)

Total Income: £1443 (main job) + 700 (probably) = 2143
Passive income: £700 (32%)
Savings rate: 13%

Side hustle 2 value: £0.20
Side hustle 3 value: £ 590 (June and July)
Side hustle 4 value: £2778 (Funds spent:5067)

The net worth is mainly the same, as i did not focus on saving, with 2 holidays coming (September and November). Flight bought for first one already, and a city break scheduled for next week (some Spa experience overnight hotel, dinner etc for my other half). Cash down, investments up, this is good. I also had some extra work that will be paid at the end of August, so i hope for some net worth increase for the next month. Online profit was low (no time or no internet to blame for it), match betting was average and cryptocurrency is increasing slowly every month.

See you soon!

My Overview

Total portfolio: £32319(+44)

Investments UK: £17212(+537)

Side hustle 2 value: £2.04
Side hustle 3 value: £476.51 (Profit June -0)
Side hustle 4 value: £520 (Funds:4528)

Total portfolio going up a bit, but the net worth increased with £337, as the debt is slowly decreasing. The investment in UK increased with half a grant, so i am pleased with this. Cash reserves are low, as i am getting ready to my next 2 holidays in two months. passive income was decent, thanks to £476 from World Cup match betting, which is not too awesome as i was taken by surprise by Germany loss. Side hustle 4 slightly increased, but not by much, as the crypto-market is still down.

My main hope is to be on the positive side at the end of September, after all the holiday madness and other expected and unexpected expenses. We will see what the summer breeze will bring with it!

Have a wonderful tan! See you!

Side hustle 2 value: £5.7
Side hustle 3 value: £328 (Profit June-433)
Side hustle 4 value: £3 (Funds:482)

Some massive changes and one seemingly big loss, which in fact it is a win. The story of my cryptocurrency adventure ended this month, with £3150 as initial investment, going to a maximum of £21000, and cashed in at the value of £9500. A nice profit, even if my net worth seems to jump up and down in these past months. I liquidated my side hustle no.1, as this it was a business that i never started. I made £8 profit in interest, while i kept the money in my account.

July - monthly report

June 2016 - Monthly report
My Overview

Total portfolio: £8659 (-744)
Debt: £1930 (+550)
Net Worth: £6729 (-1155)

Investments UK: £1881 (+30)
Investments overseas : £1839
Cash: £333 (-945)
Pension: £4606 (+432)

Total Income: £1530 (-160)
Passive income: £63 (4.11%)
Savings rate: Unknown

Side hustle 1 value: £392 (-108)
Side hustle 2 value: £6285

Interesting numbers, and overall my portfolio and net worth is decreasing, while the debt is increasing. But this is only temporary as I am trying different ways to increase my net worth, and Side hustle number 2 will start to generate income at the beginning of September. Side hustle number 1 is still work in progress, and i do not know if it will produce the expected results, but out of my two attempts done in this year, one seems to be highly succesful reaching unexpectedly good results in the next months.I am still planning to end all my debt by the end of the year, and to increase my passive income (almost passive as i am working on it 3-4 hours per month).I can see a decrease in cash, as i am planning an one week holiday in Spain, and flight and accommodation was paid. Pension jumped a bit due to the nice performance of the stock market. Very small increase in the local investments, but in the end it is increasing.
